We’re thrilled to announce that this Saturday, Irina Prokofieva will be joining us to teach the ballet class.

Irina Prokofieva - the ballet teacher and guest ballet master at Astana Opera, HNK Split, Jean M Wong Ballet school in Hong Kong.

Irina graduated with honors with a master’s degree from the Faculty of Education at the Vaganova Ballet Academy, beginning as a performer at the Mariinsky Theatre and later working as a ballet master at Hungarian State Opera, after that a choreographer and ballet master across Europe and Asia. 

Irina's experience ranges from staging major productions as a Grand Pas Paquita for the Hungarian State Opera and Sheherezade for HNK Split to creative collaborations, always aiming to balance tradition while embracing innovative choreography to inspire dancers to reach their highest potential.
